Pair of coffee cups that draw attention to the wonderful result of restoration of the Ghent Altarpiece
For the Van Eyck year, photographer, film maker and ceramist Jelle Carron has created two coffee cups that draw attention to the wonderful result of restoration of the Ghent Altarpiece in terms of shape (dented versus smooth) and colour (dull versus bright). A cup ‘before’ and a cup ‘after’: almost identical in colour and shape, but different anyway. He uses a disposable cup as a mould as a statement against the consumer society.
Available in sets of two. Each cup is unique.
